Optional analytics and preferences

Google Analytics 4 is configured. Without consent we load no Google script and send no Google pings. After consent, _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies may distinguish visits and sessions. This integration limits their lifetime to a maximum of 180 days without automatic renewal; the browser may impose a shorter lifetime.

When the preferences panel is available, ‘Allow analytics’ or ‘Refuse analytics’ is recorded in localStorage under aureniq.analytics-consent.v2, valid for 180 days. This is a technical preference, not an advertising identifier. If storage is blocked, the choice stays only in page memory. You can remove the record in your browser or change it through ‘Cookie preferences’.

Withdrawal blocks future measurement, removes this integration’s first-party GA cookies and reloads the page to remove the already loaded library. Earlier transmissions are not automatically recalled. The local technical panel preview loads no Google regardless of the selected choice.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are information a browser keeps for a website and may send back with subsequent requests. Some are necessary for a requested service such as authentication; others support preferences, audience measurement or advertising. A session identifier can be associated with an account and must not automatically be treated as anonymous.

2. The cookie currently used

The application sets the cookie below after successful sign-in by an authorised administration user. It is not needed simply to view public pages and is not an advertising cookie.

It holds an opaque session identifier, not the password. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Strict and is Secure in production configuration. It expires after a maximum of 8 hours and is removed on sign-out. Blocking it prevents a persistent administration sign-in.

3. Public browsing and other storage

Apart from the optional analytics described separately, we integrate no advertising pixels, marketing profiling or language cookies. Romanian and English are selected through the page URL. Fonts and the SAL image are served locally.

The browser-only brief and configurator choices use page memory rather than localStorage or sessionStorage. Reloading may lose unsubmitted details. A downloaded file remains on your device until you manage it; it is not a cookie.

Abuse prevention counters and CRM records are stored on the server rather than in visitor cookies. Technical VPS logs use 30-day rotation as described in the privacy notice.

4. Control and consent

You can inspect, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Removing the authentication cookie ends the retained sign-in in that browser and does not automatically delete account data or CRM enquiries.

The cookie strictly necessary for requested sign-in is separate from optional analytics. When analytics is enabled, the panel offers both acceptance and refusal without loading Google before consent. Other non-essential tools would require their own information and choices before use.

Neither browsing nor the configurator’s privacy acknowledgment constitutes consent to future optional cookies.

5. External links and launch changes

Portfolio, ANPC, SAL and European Commission links open other websites. They may have their own cookies and policies; our integration is a link rather than embedding their tracking tools in the page.

Optional enquiry-source analysis uses sessionStorage aureniq.acquisition.v1 only after consent, for up to 30 minutes. Preference v2 requests a new choice for this expanded notice; an older v1 choice is not treated as consent.

The inventory describes the AURENIQ application hosted over HTTPS at ROMARG, with Cloudflare DNS and optional Google analytics. We update the notice when infrastructure or tools change.
